Tell-A-Friend
For two weeks in April, TNG talent call hundreds of friends and family in a company-wide initiative called Tell-A-Friend, a telephone program designed to help increase breast cancer screening awareness among women over the age of 40. In 2007, TNG talent reached more than 2,200 women, and have reached over 7,000 women since 2004.Salons for the Cure
During the months of May and June, Salons for the Cure unites the professional beauty industry in the fight to cure breast cancer. In 2008, we proudly offer a beautiful, inspirational bookmark for you to buy individually or in quantity to sell to your customers.This bookmark and its message are a symbol of honor to those who have survived or been diagnosed with breast cancer. Bookmarks are available for $1.00 each (Item # ACS8), with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society’s efforts to fight breast cancer through research, education, and patient services. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
Each October, hundreds of talent, family and friends of TNG gather on Belle Isle Park in Detroit for the annual American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. As a National Corporate Team Sponsor for the event, last year TNG raised an impressive $200,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society. To date we have contributed more than $1 million dollars.Dreams
A chic blend of fun and food, Dreams brings hundreds of people together to support a worthy charity. Since its inception, Dreams has raised over $1,200,000 for causes that include cancer research, education, advocacy, patient services and children's charities.
